Young Adults:
CNY ASA and The Kelberman Center have teamed up to offer a social group for individuals transitioning from high school into young adulthood (approximate ages 17-30). This group, affectionately referred to as the "A" team, plans recreational activities and meets twice a month. For more information, contact Kaylyne Samways at [email protected].
Summer programs:
East Area YMCA:
CNY ASA's collaboration with the East Area YMCA provides a 6-week inclusive recreational summer camp program for children ages 5-12 with an ASD diagnosis. Special education support staff is provided by CNY ASA. Space is limited. Regular camp fees apply. For further information or to request an application, email [email protected].
Additional Collaborative Programs:
These are summer camp programs available to children in need of additional supports. Special Education support staff will be funded by CNY ASA. Email [email protected] with additional questions or for more information.
RedEd Youth Programs:
CNY ASA collaborates with the The Redhouse Arts Center to offer participation opportunities for children ages 8-14 with an ASD diagnosis. Our organizations work together to provide assistance to our students who need 1:1 or other assistance. This is a 2-week program, Monday-Friday. Campers will participate in dance, comedy, art, and balancing activities. Registration does not guarantee participation.
